A 7-year-old child was bitten by 5 dogs that were released without a leash and was seriously injured.

On the 30th of last month, an article titled 'Petition regarding dog owners and dog punishment for dog bite accidents' was posted on the bulletin board of the National Assembly petition for consent.

The petitioner said his daughter suffered fatal wounds to her lower body and arms after being attacked by five pungsan dogs left without her leash and mouth plug in the yard of her grandmother's house.

In this accident, the child had to undergo a major operation that took four hours, and it is said that he is suffering from trauma.

Nevertheless, the dog owner said, "They say, 'They are originally good dogs,' and they say, 'I will send only a few dogs for adoption and keep the rest of the dogs.' This is what we are putting forward,” he claimed.

Dog bites are not a thing of the past. According to the Fire Department, more than 2,000 cases occur every year.

If a dog bite accident occurs due to negligence of the dog owner, he may be punished for negligence under the Criminal Act.
