“First, the drug will be administered to children 9-11 years old, and then a younger age will go - 6-9 years old,” Gunzburg said to TASS. 

He noted that the first 16 children in the age group from nine to 11 years old with their parents have given their consent to participate in the research and have already undergone a preliminary examination. 

Earlier, Gunzburg informed that the vaccination of children 6-11 years old against coronavirus as part of clinical trials will begin on June 9-10.

On May 16, FAN, citing a statement from Rospotrebnadzor, announced the abolition of all anti-COVID restrictions in children's camps in Russia.
