The new powerband ensures that the M4 CSL gives the M4 CSL perfect acceleration and the ability to take off from a standstill, reaching a speed of 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, which is about 0.2 seconds faster than the M4 Competition.

Other modifications included the M4 CSL getting special bearings for the gearbox, new anti-roll bars, an improved suspension system that contributed to lowering the height of the car, in addition to special settings for the stability control system, and a brake system with carbon-ceramic discs with six-piston calipers. At the front, the front wheels are 19 inches, and the rear wheels are 20 inches.
