Instagram outage for thousands of users

Down-detector.com, a website that monitors internet outages, stated that the Instagram photo-sharing platform, which is affiliated with the Meta platforms, lost its service to thousands of users today, Thursday.

The site, which collects reports and data from several sources including users reporting crashes, added that more than 6,000 users reported problems with Instagram.

The outage may affect more users.

Meta did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
