A trio of Albanian criminals were arrested last weekend after a series of burglaries in posh residences in the Paris region.

The three men admitted the facts and the police discovered that they had got their hands on internationally known thugs.

This trio of Albanian thugs had already operated in Berlin, Italy, as far as Belgium before attacking the inhabitants of the west of the French capital.

And always with the same modus operandi: in the evening they climbed the buildings of the beautiful residences to the first floor with balcony, spotted the empty dwellings of their occupants, one stayed to keep watch while the other two stole everything they could in the apartment, mainly jewelry and cash.

They then drove off.

Caught in flagrante delicto

It is a group of experienced men on whom the police officers of the Parisian BRB, the brigade for the repression of banditry, fell by chance, while they were under surveillance in another case.

They followed the three men until they arrested them in the act of burglary.

The investigators therefore arrested the thugs, who recognized the facts for at least four burglaries last weekend, at La Celle-Saint-Cloud or even at Reuil Malmaison in the Hauts-de-Seine.

They have been remanded in custody pending trial on July 1.
