The court sentenced a 40-year-old doctor who again drove under the influence after being sentenced to a fine for drunk driving four times.



Today (26th), Incheon District Court Detective 3 (Judge Kwon Soon-nam) sentenced a 43-year-old doctor who was charged with refusal to take a breathalyzer test and obstruction of public service under the Road Traffic Act to one year in prison and a fine of 100,000 won. 



Mr. A was handed over to trial on the charge of running while driving drunk in Seo-gu, Incheon on the morning of November 10 last year, crashing into two parked cars and escaping. 



He is also accused of refusing to measure the blood alcohol level of a police officer who was dispatched to the scene after he tried to escape after the accident. 



Mr. A only pretended to blow his breath when the police officer in charge put the meter, and even after being transferred to the district court, he refused to measure his blood alcohol level, swearing at him, and smashing the acrylic plate installed to prevent corona infection. 



As a result of the investigation, Mr. A had a history of being charged with drunk driving four times from 2010 to 2017. 



He was sentenced to a fine of 2.5 million won in 2010, 5 million won in 2013, 5 million won in 2016, and 20 million won in 2017.



In response, the court said, "The accused has a history of being punished for drunk driving, and after the accident he left the scene without taking care of it." considered," he explained, explaining the reason for the sentencing.
