A woman in her 20s who forced a woman who was a schoolmate to prostitution and committed a harsh act to death was sentenced to a higher sentence than the first trial at the appeals court. 



The 3rd Criminal Division of the Suwon High Court (Presiding Judge Kim Seong-su) overturned the lower court sentenced to 25 years in prison for 27-year-old A, who was charged with heavy confinement and murder, coercion of prostitution, abduction of prostitution, and violation of the Crime Proceeds Concealment Act today (25th). and sentenced to 27 years in prison.

He was also ordered to complete 80 hours of a sexual assault treatment program and to be restricted from employment for 10 years.



From December 2019 to January last year, Mr. B made her classmate B (then 26, female) live near her house in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and then prostituted her 2,145 times, worth 300 million won. He was charged with extorting money. 



It was found that A installed a home cam in B's house and forced her to prostitute at a nearby motel 5 to 6 times a day, on average, while monitoring it in real time through a location tracking app.

It was revealed that if he did not meet the set amount per day, he was called to his house and subjected to harsh acts such as cold water bathing, beating, and disturbing sleep.



Mr. A threatened Mr. B, her high school and college classmate, who even worked with her, pretending that her gang was behind her. 



B, who suffered from prostitution and harassment, died of hypothermia while being forced to take a cold water bath. 



The court of appeals said, "The accused acknowledges and reflects on the crime, but only recognizes objective facts such as CCTV related to the crime submitted by the investigation agency. He died while living a life like a slave.”



The court sentenced him to 8 years in prison and 2 years in prison, respectively, for his cohabitation man C, who was charged with the same charges as Mr.
