Today (23rd), a memorial service for the 13th anniversary of the late former President Roh Moo-hyun was held at Bonghama Village, Jinyeong-eup, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Prior to the memorial service scheduled for 2 pm, former President Moon Jae-in visited Bonghama Village early this morning.

Moon's visit to Bong-ha is the first in five years since he attended the '8th anniversary of the death of President Roh', which was held in 10 days after taking office on May 10, 2017.

At the memorial service at the time, former President Moon Jae-in said, "I will definitely come back to see you after completing my duties as a successful president."



Former President Moon Jae-in also visited the 'Awakening Citizens Cultural Experience Exhibition Hall', a special experience center opened to coincide with his memorial service.

After looking around the experience center here for about 50 minutes, he wrote in the guestbook, 'Wake up citizens are following you.'



Meanwhile, the 13th anniversary of the death of former President Roh was attended by many leaders of the ruling and opposition parties, including former President Moon Jae-in and his wife.
