U.S. President Biden said he had offered North Korea a vaccine for COVID-19, but had not received a response.



President Biden said, "Yes. We have proposed a vaccine to China as well as North Korea," said Biden, when asked if he would provide a vaccine to North Korea at a joint press conference after the South Korea-US summit held at the presidential office in Yongsan on the 21st.



"We were ready to deliver right away, but we haven't heard back," he said.



When asked if he would like to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, he replied, "It depends on whether Chairman Kim is serious and sincere about the meeting."
