A platform to connect young entrepreneurs in the video game sector with investors from the industry was launched on Tuesday by the National Video Game Syndicate in France.

With "France Gaming Angels", the union hopes to create a "creative dynamic" which would broaden the French video game landscape.

The National Video Game Syndicate (SNJV) launched Tuesday "France Gaming Angels", a platform for connecting young shooters in the sector and individual investors also from this industry.

"If you don't have a network, you start with a disadvantage. The objective is to erase this difference, to give the same chances to everyone", explained the general delegate of the SNJV, Julien Villedieu.

To "go from beginners to advanced"

Around ten projects have already been posted on the portal, intended for 26 "business angels".

The minimum financial participation is 25,000 euros per investor and per project.

To be submitted to investors, the files must be "related to the video game", request an "amount greater than 100,000 euros" which must "be used to support the growth of the company and not to finance a production", and come from a French company domiciled in France, specifies a press release from the SNJV.

With "France Gaming Angels", the union hopes to launch a "creation dynamic", and help the actors already present to "go from beginners to confirmed", underlined Julien Villedieu, who sees there the opportunity to "expand" the French video game landscape.
