On the night of the 4th, a fire broke out in an apartment in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
The fire killed my grandfather in his 70s and his 7-year-old grandson who came to play at his grandfather's house.

At around 9:20 last night, a fire broke out in an apartment in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.
[Neighbors: The sensor went off, so some smoke came out, so I went out, the guards.
However, the door was not opened, so I reported it from the house below.]
A grandfather in his 70s and a grandson in his 7s who were in the house were taken to the hospital, but eventually died.
[Neighbors: grandmother, grandfather, son, a family of three.
I have one daughter who has gone home.
The child comes sometimes, grandson.
What are you doing when you hear a sound?
I thought that my grandson would come and run again.] It seems that
the day before Children's Day, the grandson came to play at grandparents' house and had a bowel movement.

The fire did not spread to other houses and was put out in about an hour after burning only the inside of the house.
There were no sprinklers in the apartment, as it was built before the law that required sprinklers on every floor in apartments above 11th floor.
A joint investigation will be held tomorrow to determine the exact cause of the fire, and an autopsy will be conducted on the two dead.
Police have yet to find a suspect in the arson, but said they are open to all possibilities and are investigating.
