A man in his 40s was caught by the police after he was pickpocketing only women on the subway on his way to work.



The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's subway police department said that they had arrested a man in his 40s, A, on charges of stealing money from a female passenger's bag while riding the Line 9 express train.



In February, the police started an investigation after receiving a report that a man had been pickpocketed inside Noryangjin Station on Line 9.



The police analyzed 35 cases of pickpocketing on Line 9 from last year to last month and identified Mr.



Mr. A is accused of stealing money worth 3.7 million won over 10 times, mainly by putting his hand inside a female passenger's bag and stealing a wallet.



At the time of his arrest, the prosecution also issued an arrest warrant for theft and was wanted.
