In celebration of Labor Day on May 1st, large-scale rallies are held at the same time in various parts of the country, including downtown Seoul.

The Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) announced today (1st) that it will hold the World Labor Day convention under the themes of 'labor rights without discrimination' and 'achieving quality jobs' in 16 regions across the country at 2 pm on the 1st.

About 10,000 people are expected to attend the rally in downtown Seoul, which will be held in the Sejong-daero area.

After the rally, they plan to march to the front of the transition committee in Tongui-dong, calling for an end to the 'anti-labor policy'.
