A rapper, known as Mnet's 'high school rapper', has been brought to court on charges of 'harassing a male child'.
Rapper A appeared in court today (27th) on charges of violating the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, etc.
A's lawyer said in court, "The defendant made an incomprehensible statement about the reason for the crime at the time, 'I touched my ass to eat feces'."
He said, "The defendant decided that he was unable to recover (musically), so he came down to his hometown of Jeonju. Afterwards, he took off his clothes and laid down on the street because of his mental illness." Then he took a taxi to Haeundae, where he had no connection. He rode and committed the crime.”
He continued, "I was diagnosed with severe mental disorder in June of last year and was hospitalized for 70 days in a psychiatric hospital.
Finally, the lawyer said, "It is qualitatively different from sexual assault such as grabbing or hitting a woman's body, and it is a relatively minor crime."
Mr. A also said, "Once again, I sincerely apologize for hurting the victim and his family."
He was indicted on charges of touching a part of the body of a 9-year-old group B in Haeundae, Busan, last year.
Mr. A made his name known by appearing in high school rappers in the past, and has worked with famous celebrities on music.
