Initially, the ruling and opposition parties planned to make a bill based on the agreement and pass it at the plenary session within this week.

However, there are many detailed issues in the review movement that you just saw, so the future is beyond mountains.

An arbitration plan by National Assembly Speaker Park Byeong-seok consisting of eight clauses.

It contains the contents of reducing the prosecutor's direct investigation authority to two areas of corruption and the economy, and leaving some of the prosecutor's right to request supplementary investigation, but the specific details are in the fog.

With the aim of handling the plenary session this week, the National Assembly has to work on a cramming plan, and there are a number of issues in which the opposition and opposition are running parallel from the start.

After a grace period of four months after the promulgation of the revised law, the explanations of the opposition parties differ, from whether the prosecution will continue to investigate major cases related to the current government, such as the blacklist case of the Ministry of Industry, the alleged economic manipulation of the Wolseong nuclear power plant, and the Daejang-dong case.

The Democratic Party believes that all crimes for which the prosecution's investigative authority is abolished should be handed over to the police immediately after the law is enforced, whereas the people's power is that the prosecution continues to investigate the cases currently under investigation and the police take only the cases that will occur after the law is enforced.

When the prosecution asks the police for a supplementary investigation, they set the condition that there must be identity and unity with the existing case, and how this will be included in the bill is controversial.

It is also pointed out that it is unreasonable to ask the police for a supplementary investigation even if an accomplice or additional charges are found in crimes such as multi-level fraud or illegal filming.

There is also a prospect that the plenary session agreed to this week by the ruling and opposition parties may become difficult if a sharp tug-of-war over detailed provisions continues after Lee Jun-seok, representative of the People's Power, declared a reconsideration of the negotiation proposal.
