“Specialists of the state corporation Roscosmos carried out an unscheduled correction of the height of the orbit of the International Space Station to avoid “space debris,” the report says.

As noted, after the corrective maneuver, the altitude of the station's orbit, previously, increased by 1.8 km.

Earlier it was reported that Roskosmos will provide the ISS avoidance of space debris.

The station's orbit was last corrected on February 26 before the astronauts' flights scheduled for March.
