Chief Justice Kim Myung-soo announced that Justice Roh Tae-ak was appointed as the successor of Chairman Roh Jeong-hee, who announced his resignation.
He said that he appointed Justice Roh as his successor after comprehensively considering Justice Roh's personality and trust inside and outside the court, and said he would request a personnel hearing at the National Assembly soon.
