Candidate Lee Sang-min, a former judge and lawyer, has been serving as an outside director of ENF Technology, a semiconductor material development company, since March 2019.

He was re-appointed after his three-year term in March, and he is still in office, and it is understood that he has received a remuneration of 98 million won.

However, it was confirmed that the candidate's son in his 20s was employed by the company's affiliated company in March of last year.

The largest shareholder of the company in which this candidate is an outside director is a company called Korea Alcohol Industry, and the son of Lee is hired by KC&A, the largest shareholder of the Korea Alcohol Industry.

The candidate's son worked in the raw material purchasing department of the company and received 27 million won in salary and bonuses until the end of last year, and it is recorded in the hearing request that he lives in an apartment owned by the company.

The candidate's side said that it is true that his son is working, but that there was no special involvement of the candidate in the recruitment process, and that he will explain in detail during the hearing.

In addition, it was found that this candidate received an annual salary of 50 million won while serving as an outside director of AK Holdings, the holding company of Aekyung Group since March last year.

The candidate's side said that the resignation process for the position of outside director is in progress at both companies.
