The story of about 30 citizens joining forces to save a disabled person who is caught in the gap between the subway and the platform is moving.

At 6 pm on the 16th, Mr. Kim, who was traveling to the meeting place by subway, was surprised by a sudden thump when the train stopped at Dongguk University Station on Line 3.

Kim said, "He was very dwarf and noticeably short in arm length, so I knew at first glance that he was a person who was uncomfortable.

Several male passengers standing near the door tried to remove the victim's leg, but to no avail, and surrounding citizens came out one by one and started pushing the train.

In that way, about 30 citizens, including Mr. Kim, pushed the train for about 10 minutes to open the gap.

He was finally able to remove his leg and was handed over to the station staff and paramedics.

Kim said, "At first, only a few passengers pushed the train, but as the number of citizens increased, about 30 people all came together to help with slogans," Kim said.

He said, "The subway service has been delayed, but I still felt that there are many warm people in our society."

An official from Seoul Transportation Corporation said, "The passenger who suffered an accident at that time is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment." "We will do our best to manage safety so that similar accidents do not occur in the future.
