The arrest of Lee Eun-hae and Jo Hyun-soo, the suspects in the 'Gapyeong Valley Murder Case', will be decided today (19th).

The Incheon District Court is conducting a substantive examination of the arrest warrants for Lee and Cho, who are charged with murder, attempted murder, and attempted violation of the Special Act on the Prevention of Insurance Fraud from 3:30 pm today.

Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho, who were arrested by the prosecution, moved from the Incheon Detention Center to the court through the underground passage connected to the Incheon District Court this afternoon, and appeared to the reporters in front of the warrant substantive examination court.

When asked by reporters, "Are you sorry to the deceased and the bereaved family, or do you admit the planned murder?", the two did not answer any questions.

In the previous investigation by the prosecution, Mr. Lee is known to have exhibited a non-cooperative attitude, such as exercising his right to refuse to testify, saying, "I will not be investigated in the absence of an attorney."

Previously, the two were accused of murdering her husband, Mo Yoon, in the Yongso Valley in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, in June 2019.

They hid before the prosecution's second investigation in December of last year, and were arrested by the police on the 16th at an officetel in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
