The plastic surgery director, who was sentenced to three years in prison in the first trial, was released on bail for leaving Dae-hee Kwon, who was bleeding a lot during plastic surgery, to death.

At that time, the court of first instance ruled that the golden time to save Kwon was missed by running the so-called 'factory-style surgery line', and as a result, Kwon died, resulting in a serious outcome.

According to the court today (19th), the 9th division of the Seoul Central District Court (Chief Judge Yang Kyung-seung) accepted the bail request of the hospital director Jang Mo (52, male) on the 14th.

The hospital director, Jang, was handed over to trial in 2019 on charges of causing excessive bleeding to death due to negligence in Kwon's operation in September 2016 and failure to follow-up properly.

Previously, during surgery in 2016, Kwon's face suddenly bled, which was so much that the floor of the operating room was buoyant.

Jang, who was operating on several patients at the same time, was also charged with violating the Medical Law by entrusting Kwon's hemostasis to a nursing assistant for about 30 minutes on the grounds that he was operating on another patient.

At first, the prosecution charged Jang with only negligent manslaughter, but the court accepted the family's request for financial support, adding to the charge of violating the Medical Act due to unlicensed medical practice.

At the first trial held in August of last year, the court sentenced Jang to three years in prison and a fine of 5 million won, saying, "I missed the golden time of treatment without taking several hours of action because of factory-style surgery."

Jang was imprisoned in the court of first instance, and applied for bail during the second trial.
