Four students from the University of Western Brittany (UBO) in Brest (Finistère) have developed an app to fight against harassment and violence in the street.

For this, the platform offers users to meet and travel in groups.

Designers aged 21 to 24 hope to be able to launch the mobile application called Ty Safe in January 2023, indicates

An interactive map

They now want to engage the services of a developer.

The young women intend to offer their digital tool for free in which users will enter the journeys they have planned to make in an interactive map.

People considering a similar journey will be able to join them and gain in safety.

"It's a mix of Waze and Blablacar", summarizes one of the students about Ty Safe.

The app was born out of the unpleasant experiences of the four friends and their loved ones in the public space.

They have also founded an association to raise awareness of insecurity.
