The Easter holidays start, one of the seasons with the highest volume of movement on the roads in a short period of time.

According to the General Directorate of Traffic,

more than 14 million trips are expected

on the different Spanish roads this year.

For those who take trips (and traffic jams) calmly, without rushing and want to enjoy something more than just the landscape, making stops along the way to have a coffee, a sandwich or a good menu, the options are almost endless in our country. .

The Repsol Guide has just launched

the Soletes de Carretera, a list with more than 300 bars, restaurants and cafes

that have this new rating that recognizes the quality of these traditional and popular establishments throughout the national territory.

Carried out by a team of gastronomy experts who have traveled the busiest roads in the 50 provinces of Spain, the guide includes places to get your strength back quickly, to eat quietly, to order a delicious sandwich with beautiful views, to discover the gastronomy of the area and even those that are favorites of truckers.

If you are one of those who will travel by car this Easter to spend the holidays, we propose a

selection of these 320 premises (see the entire list

here

) with the new distinction located at the foot of the six main national highways that leave the capital

.

You will recognize them by having the image designed by Luis Úrculo at the entrance: a sun with a blurred outline with a smile.
