Two bodies found during a search operation for the missing tugboat 'Kyoto 1' in Taiwan waters have been identified as missing Korean sailors.



The vessel 'Kyoto 1' with six Korean crew members disappeared after sending a distress signal in the waters of Taiwan around 9:50 a.m. the day (7th).



Two bodies were found near the accident site yesterday morning, and as a result of a background check by the police with the obtained fingerprints and photos, they were confirmed to be our missing crew members.



A security vessel dispatched by the Korea Coast Guard to search for the missing arrives at the accident area this morning.



An additional submarine support ship with divers on board will also be sent to conduct a joint search with the Taiwanese authorities.
