Called “For you, Paige”, this show will be directed by the TikTokeur Daniel Mertzlufft, already known for having imagined a fake musical finale on the universe of the film “Ratatouille” during confinement in 2020.

“A TikTok musical is coming.

I worked with TikTok to make it happen… It will be played on Broadway one day and broadcast for all of you,” explained Daniel Mertzlufft.

For you Paige

will air on TikTok overnight from Thursday to Friday.

It will trace the story of Landon, a high school music composer and his best friend Paige.

TikTok celebrities in leading roles

The narrative of this musical is based on real stories of TikTok users whom the creators of the show called upon to write certain music.

Similarly, the main actors will be played by celebrities from the social network, namely Roman Banks for the character of Landon and Sri Ramesh for that of Paige.

The musical is an area in which TikTok seems to want to position itself, especially after winning a Grammy Award for “Best Musical” for the project
