'Kyoto No. 1' disappeared after sending a distress report in Taiwan waters around 9:50 am the day before.



It was a ship with six Korean sailors on board, and two bodies were found near the accident area yesterday morning.



The government is working to confirm the identity of the missing sailor by requesting the police to conduct a background check with the obtained fingerprints and photos.



A security vessel dispatched by the Korea Coast Guard to search for the missing arrives at the accident area this morning.



An additional submarine support ship with divers on board will also be sent to conduct a joint search with the Taiwanese authorities.

Currently, the government provides the approximate location where the Kyoto-1 sank. known to have been identified.
