A man in his 40s who habitually made false calls to 112 was arrested by the police.
The Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 40s in the Shinwol-dong area of Yangcheon-gu around 3 a.m. on the 3rd.
On the day of his arrest, it was revealed that Mr. A called the police several times with contents such as 'holding a knife', 'I'm going to commit suicide', and 'already bleeding'.
As a result of checking by the actual police, it was confirmed that Mr. A was intoxicated and that all the reported contents were false.
At that time, Mr. A is said to have made a statement to the effect of 'because he was bored' when the police asked why he made a false report.
As a result of the investigation, it was confirmed that Mr. A had a history of making 112 false reports more than 100 times this year alone.
The police plan to charge A on charges of obstructing the execution of official duties.
