There are a lot of people who do outdoor activities in warm weather, but the city of Seoul has warned that people should be careful about spraying preventative drugs on the mountain to prevent rabies.

The city of Seoul announced that it will spray 40,000 wild animal rabies baits in areas where raccoons such as Bukhansan and Yangjaecheon are inhabited to prevent rabies spread through wild raccoons.

This preventive drug is an oral rabies vaccine, which is put in fish cakes or chicken dough to make it easier for animals to eat.

The city of Seoul urged people not to touch any preventive medicines found under trees or in bushes while hiking.

This is because if humans touch it, the body odor may remain and wild animals may not eat it.

On the other hand, the rabies virus exhibits symptoms after an incubation period of about a month or so when infected. You must be treated in a hospital.
