A 20-year-old man accused of habitual fraud on an internet second-hand trading site was arrested.

He already has a previous criminal record for the same type of crime, and even used the bankbook of his 3-year-old son for the crime.



The Daejeon Jungbu Police Station announced today (5th) that they had arrested a 20-year-old man who committed fraud on a used trading site and sent it to the prosecution.



According to the police, Mr. A is accused of stealing money deposited by victims after posting a post saying that he sold mobile phones, home appliances, watches, etc. on 13 internet second-hand trading sites for about a year from February last year.



It was found that Mr. A defrauded 52 million won over 102 times in this way.

In addition, it was revealed that Mr. A continued to commit crimes while under investigation by the police.



It was investigated that Mr. A, who had already been punished for the same type of criminal record, made it difficult to use his bankbook for fraud, opened an account in the name of his 3-year-old son, and received money from the victims.



Person A is known to have committed the crime to finance gambling.



A police official said, "We believe there may be more victims, and we are investigating whether there are any other crimes."
