WhatsApp introduces complete improvements to voice messages

WhatsApp has announced that it will roll out in the coming weeks a package of improvements to voice messages, and these changes include the ability for users to listen to a voice message while they read other chats, as well as play messages at 1.5 or twice the speed, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.

WhatsApp will also provide its users with the feature to pause and resume recording, which makes them not have to leave large gaps of silence if they are thinking about what to say next, or to re-record if they need to have a short conversation in real life.

According to “sputnikn”, “WhatsApp” will allow its fans the opportunity to listen to a message before sending it through a “draft”, in order to ensure that it is not accidentally interrupted, or includes something they do not want their recorded message to contain.

And WhatsApp users will be able to continue listening to an audio message that they stopped in the middle of, as a result of their preoccupation with something, which will save them from listening to the entire message.

In its statement, WhatsApp said that it has made a slight aesthetic improvement to voice messages, which is that it will take the form of “waves” instead of a line to show the progress of playing the voice message.

In its statement, WhatsApp revealed that its users send an average of 7 billion voice conversations per day.
