Dozens of animal carcasses were found in a mountain in Eumseong, North Chungcheong Province.

From young puppies to corpses with only bones left, there are as many as 70 animals. It seems that the abandoned dogs that were euthanized at the Abandoned Animal Center were secretly thrown away.

This is an exclusive report by CJB reporter Park Eon.

is a mountain in Geumwang-eup, Eumseong-gun.

White and black objects hang precariously on the sloping hillside.

If you look closely, it's a dog carcass.

But not one or two.

They range from newborn puppies to those left with bones.

Abandoned leashes nearby, and even food bags that dogs used to eat are spread out.

[Park Tae-sun/President of Eumseong-gun Branch of the Environmental Practice Association: There was a stench, so I looked around, but the situation was not good at the time of discovery because there were too many maggots]

Most of the bodies are on the hillside.

It is believed that the vehicle was pulled up here and thrown away as it passed by.

As a result of determining the number of carcasses over two hours, the number reached a whopping 70.

However, only one carcass was registered as an animal, and the rest were not even searched.

[Yeon Bo-ra / Head of Korea Abandoned Animal Welfare Association: (At the Abandoned Animal Center) I think that the animals were euthanized

, cleaned up, and abandoned to save money on carcass disposal.]

said to have increased significantly.

[Local residents: It has been around since November of last year, and it was all done in winter.]

Eumseong-gun, who checked the scene, requested an investigation to the police, and the police immediately started an investigation, such as checking the surrounding CCTV.
