Dabiz Muñoz, the chef from Madrid and the best chef in the world, according to
The Best Chef Awards 2021 list,
will move his
DiverXO and StreetXO restaurants.
This was announced this morning during Madrid Fusión.
During a presentation/meeting/interview in which journalists and the general public asked the chef, Muñoz, restless as always, summarized the state of his projects.
And it is that 2022 is a year of changes for the Madrid native: the opening soon of RavioXO
(in May), a project dedicated to pasta and dumplings, and the change of location of StreetXO, which next August will move to Corte Inglés de Serrano, where it will double the current space.
But the highlight came with the announcement that
his flagship, DiverXO,
and the only three Michelin stars in the capital, will also have a new headquarters,
although the chef has not revealed what his new home will be.
What he has advanced is that
the tri-star will move in two years
and that it will be a
DiverXO
, different, "that is going to break dogmas and barriers", he pointed out in response to one of the dozens of questions that have been asked during the meeting .
