This is the third studio that Netflix has acquired, after Night School in September 2021 and Next Games in early March.
The streaming giant, which has been communicating about its gaming ambitions since the summer, remains a small player compared to Sony and Microsoft but has big ideas.
Netflix wants to create “exceptional gaming experiences” and innovative, without advertising or additional purchase.
The ultimate idea will be to create bridges between its successful content (series and shows) and associated games, to encourage subscribers to stay on the platform and enjoy different forms of entertainment.
