Taking a historic moment from his sports career and turning it into an NFT is what the momentumnft.io website offers.

The idea appealed to Antoine Kombouaré, who decided to sell one of his most memorable goals.

On March 18, 1993, the footballer scored a magnificent header with PSG in added time against Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup, recalls

The capital club thus qualified for the semi-finals thanks to its defender.

Eleven numbered collector NFTs

The idea for this sale comes from Luc Dayan, ex-president of the Lille and Lens clubs and friend of Antoine Kombouaré.

“By the way, does your bus belong to PSG or to Canal+ which was broadcasting the match?

“, the former president once asked the sportsman.

"He is mine and no one else's," replied Kombouaré.

Inspired by what is already being done in the United States, in particular with historic moments in the NBA, Luc Dayan has worked to reconstruct the 1993 goal in 3D.

The NFT thus created, a short ten-second film with commentary by Antoine Kombouaré, was printed in 1,993 copies, in reference to the year of the match.

Each copy will be sold for 125 euros each.

Eleven “luxury” and numbered NFTs will also be auctioned on March 18, the anniversary of the famous goal that earned Kombouaré his nickname: “golden helmet”.
