It was 4:30 pm yesterday (10th) that a Vietnamese worker in his 30s, A, got caught in the mixer at this factory.



When firefighters arrived, Mr. A suffered serious injuries to his arm and head and was already dead.

It was investigated that Mr. A suffered an accident when his rubber gloved hand got caught in the process of pulling out some of the mixed material from the machine.

The factory where the accident occurred has a work stop order attached, and the factory door is locked by hanging like this. There is.



As a result of the on-site investigation, it was also revealed that the safety rules were not followed.



According to the current law, a safety cover, etc., should be installed on machines with a risk of jamming, such as mixers and grinders, but this was not equipped.



It is also known that the rule that the operation must be stopped when removing contents from the machine, cleaning, or repair work has not been followed.

132 of the 272 cases of pinch-in-death accidents that occurred in the manufacturing industry during the four years from 2016 were targeted for the installation of safety equipment.

The police are investigating whether there is a business negligence against factory officials.
