There were also reports that they could not vote due to poor election management, and criticism of the National Election Commission, which has lost trust, is growing.

As the confrontation continued for about three hours after the police were put in, the ballot box was moved to the voting booth at 4:30 am today.

The National Election Commission charged the police with violating the Election Act and obstructing the execution of official duties against those who blocked the transfer of ballot boxes.

When I went to vote, some citizens said they had already voted.

This happened because the election official did not properly verify the identity of the person with the same name.

Some people almost missed the chance to vote because they didn't receive a text message from the National Election Commission to vote for confirmed cases.

[Kang Min-jung / Jungnang-gu, Seoul: I am a confirmed person, but when I asked why not, he continued to talk about texting from the National Election Commission rather than checking it with a text message from the public health center.

However, there were many people who did not receive (the text message).]

NGOs filed a complaint with the police, saying that other officials, including Election Commission Chairman Roh Jeong-hee, and the National Election Commission Secretary General, were also responsible for the poor management of voting.
