A landlord has been sentenced to prison for obstructing his tenants from using a parking lot.

The Jeju District Court announced today (10th) that it had sentenced a man in his 50s, who was charged with obstruction of business, to six months in prison.

A (59), the owner of a building in Jeju City, from July 16, 2020 to April 26, 2021, took the parking lot next to Mr. B's 24-hour self-laundry room against Mr. B, who rented the first floor of his building. He is accused of forbidding the shop's customers to use it.

Mr. A interfered with the parking lot by leaving his vehicle in a state that violated the parking line in the parking lot, placing bricks on the floor, or installing ropes on rods, etc.

As a result of the investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A was convicted of the same charge for not allowing laundry shop guests to use the parking lot in 2018, and committed another crime during the probation period.

The court said, "The fact that the damage seems to have escalated because the victim has neglected the defendant's actions for a long period of time without making active efforts to resolve the conflict, and that the defendant's health is poor, is normal for the defendant to be favorable.

" Considering that he was convicted of obstruction of business, he committed the crime again during the probation period and denied the crime, the sentence of imprisonment is inevitable for the accused.”
