Voters are also welcomed at the polling place at the Mokdong Youth Center from 6 am.

There was a queue early in the morning, but now it is rather quiet.

However, it seems that the footsteps of voters who want to cast their precious one vote will continue.

Voting for this 20th presidential election is held in 14,464 places across the country, and the turnout is counted and announced every hour from 7 am.

The total number of voters is 44,197,000, which is about 1.72 million more than the 19th presidential election.

The early voting turnout, held for two days on the 4th and 5th, reached a record high of 36.93%, 10% higher than the previous election.

Therefore, it is noteworthy that the overall turnout in this election may exceed 80%.

Since the 15th presidential election, the first horizontal regime change since democratization, the turnout has never been higher than 80%.

Both the ruling and opposition parties interpret high turnout in their favor.

Corona 19 confirmed and quarantined persons can vote for an hour and a half from 6:00 pm.

After voting, the counting starts at 8:10 pm at the earliest.

The National Election Commission predicted that the outline of the elected person would be revealed at around 1 am tomorrow at the earliest.

However, if the two leading candidates have a close battle within the margin of error, the timing is likely to be delayed a bit.
