A man in his 20s, who killed his girlfriend after an argument, was found to have been eating and drinking for several days with the body next to him.

The Goyang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced today (7th) that they are investigating the arrest of a 23-year-old man A (23) on the charge of killing a woman in her 20s and leaving her body unattended at an officetel in Goyang.

According to the police, at around 10:35 last night, a 112 report was received from the family of the victim B, 'I haven't been able to contact you for several days'.

In response, the police rushed to an officetel in Deokyang-gu, Goyang-si, where B resided, and forcibly opened the door.

According to the police, the crime was presumed to have taken place inside the officetel a few days ago, and the body was decomposed due to the heating system working.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that Mr. A killed Mr. B with her bare hands and spent several days next to her body, providing food and drinks.

Person A stated that she was in a relationship with Mr. B, who had died, and that he committed the crime accidentally after an argument while drinking together.

The two have been dating for several months, and it is known that Mr. A does not have a clear residence.

The police plan to reveal the exact cause of death of Mr. B through an autopsy, while investigating the motive for the crime against Mr. A and then applying for an arrest warrant.
