<Reporter> The

forest fire went beyond Gopo Village, the southernmost point of Samcheok, Gangwon-do, to Wolcheon-ri, and is still burning everywhere.

At dawn, the wind subsided, but the flames spread to the front of the house, making it difficult for the fire department to build an extinguishing line.

After a while, as soon as the sun rises, we plan to mobilize all helicopters to carry out the full-scale firefighting work.

At one time, the fire spread to Wonwon Forest, 2 km in front of the LNG base in Samcheok, but fortunately it did not reach the base.

However, in case of an emergency, the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters large-capacity multiple rocket launcher deployed in Uljin was also dispatched to the LNG base.

The forestry authorities struggled to prevent damage to private houses by building a forest fire control line overnight, but a private house in Gupo village was burned.

The 190 residents who evacuated to the eup, myeon and dong offices had to stay up all night with their eyes open.

The forestry authorities are planning to start a full-scale evolution as soon as the sun rises.

57 firefighting helicopters, including the Korea Forest Service and the fire department, will be intensively deployed in Uljin and Samcheok, and about 1,200 firefighters and police will conduct ground operations on the ground.

The Integrated Forest Fire Site Command Headquarters plans to complete the fire extinguishing process by carrying out all-out firefighting work in the morning.
