If you drive for 4 hours west from the border with Ukraine, you will arrive at Krakow, Poland's second largest city.

We reunited with the family of refugee Kim Do-sun, who escaped Kiiwu at a rental accommodation on the outskirts of the city.

It's been a week since we crossed the border after a lot of hard work.

Even in broad daylight, the curtains were left, and my wife and 5-year-old son, still terrified, refrain from going outside.

[Daniel/Kim Do-soon's son: Hello.

My grandmother lives in Busan.]

When I left the capital, Kiiu, there were five people including my mother-in-law and my brother-in-law

.

There are five people in the family, my child, me, and my maternal uncle and maternal grandmother.

Moving.]

In fact, only the three of us crossed the border.

[Kim Do-soon / Ukrainian Refugees (Escape from Kiiu): While waiting at the border, President Zelensky issued a decree (conscription).

In the case of a brother-in-law, he doesn't cross the border because he's at that age.

I am anxious to leave my brother-in-law alone, so my mother-in-law is left with me.]

As a result, my eyes and ears are all focused on the news of the war.

[Miroslava/Kim Do-sun's wife: Among close relatives and close friends, only us escaped, and the rest are still in Kiiu.]

I'm worried about the safety of the remaining family members, but I can't contact them at will.

[Miroslava / Mrs. Kim Do-sun's wife: I am refraining from calling because I think I may suffer unreasonable damage or harm, or it may hurt my heart.]

Not far from Mr. Kim's temporary dormitory, anti-war protests condemning the invasion of Russia is continuing.

Russian Consulate in Krakow city.

Propaganda materials left by anti-war protesters are stuck around the building, and the Russian government insignia at the front door has been damaged by the paint thrown by the protesters.

[Tomashu/Poland Krakow citizen: Putin is a terrorist.

'If he doesn't stop the war now, he's the devil,' she shouted out her slogan.]

Mrs. Kim Do-soon, who had a dark expression on her face all the time, asked Russian women to pass it on to them.

[Miroslava / Mrs. Kim Do-sun: Your sons and husbands are dying in the Ukraine war for no reason, over 6,000 people.

As a mother and a wife, I hope that we can understand this fact properly and work together to stop this war.]
