A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for injuring another patient by injecting detergent into the Ringer's hose while in the hospital.

The Daejeon District Court sentenced a man in his 30s to three years in prison, charged with special injuries, etc.

A was sent to trial on charges of injecting bathroom cleaner with a syringe into another patient's Ringer's hose at the hospital where he was hospitalized for burn treatment in March last year.

At that time, when the victim complained of pain in the chest and back, the nurse changed the ringer, but it was investigated that Mr. A put the detergent in the victim's Ringer's sap in the same way an hour later.

As a result, the victim suffered chest pain, substance poisoning, and multiple organ failure injuries.

At the time, it was revealed that Mr. A, who was in a drinking state, surrounded the detergent as a 'medicine that pierces blood vessels'.

Previously, Mr. A had been charged with rioting, such as breaking into another person's house while intoxicated.

The court pointed out that 'the bizarre crime of adding detergent to the Ringer's sap of a sleeping victim deserves severe punishment'.
