Korea's elementary, middle and high school students wanted to hear from their parents the most, with 'I love you always' ranked second.

If so, what was the first place?

A total of 2,000 people, including elementary, middle and high school students, parents, and teachers, participated in this contest.

Among the words the student wanted to hear from their friends, 225 out of 808 cases responded similarly to 'thank you for being my friend', followed by 'let's play together', showing the reality that the time spent with friends has decreased due to COVID-19. I did.

The top words students want to hear from their parents are 'My daughter and son, you did really well', 'I always love you', and 'You are doing well', from the teacher, 'You did very well,' 'It's okay, you're doing well. ', 'You've worked really hard' appeared to want to hear.

In particular, it is impressive that the word 'very well' was selected as the number one word that parents and teachers want to hear the most.

The words the teacher wanted to hear from the students were 'Thank you always', 'Teacher's class is the most fun', and 'Our teacher is the best', and the words parents want to hear from their children are 'I am so happy that I am a child of Mom and Dad', 'I love you' and 'Thank you' in that order.

This campaign was conducted as a part of education to prevent school violence as verbal violence increased in all elementary, middle, and high school levels as a result of the 2021 school violence survey.

Cho Hee-yeon, Superintendent of Education in Seoul, said, "If a positive language culture spreads through one warm word that others want to hear, I think that positive power will be exerted to restore relationships among school members. We hope to contribute to the prevention of violence."

Netizens who heard the news commented, "I have to go home from work and tell my kids, 'You did a good job'", "Children's wishes were very small things", "Parents' praise is the most reassuring and empowering in the world", "I want to hear people say, 'You're doing well'!"
