Getting hit by bird droppings is not a pleasant feeling.

But in Ulsan, it seems like it could be unexpectedly lucky.

Every winter, about 100,000 rooks visit Ulsan's Taehwa River.

There is a perception that crows are bad birds, but in Ulsan, they are treated as eco-environment restoration evangelists.

This is because, unlike the resident crow, the winter migratory crow spends the winter in a clean environment with abundant food.

However, crow excrement and noise pouring down from the sky may cause inconvenience to nearby residents.

In response, Ulsan City came up with an idea to revive the local economy with a reverse idea.

It is to give a coupon of 50,000 won to a tourist who has been hit with crow excrement at the Taehwa River National Garden, which can be used at a nearby shopping mall.

If you post a rook certification shot on social media, you will also receive a 20,000 won coupon for the first 100 people.

The city of Ulsan plans to run a pilot operation for two weeks from this week, and then operate it in earnest when the rook returns at the end of this year.
