Samie Hardman

, a mother from Utah (United States) has shared some photos on her Instagram account in which she and her family say goodbye to her 12-year-old son

Drayke

, who has committed suicide because of the

bullying

he suffered.

"This... this is the result of bullying, my beautiful son was fighting a battle that we couldn't save him from. It's real, it's silent and there's absolutely nothing as a parent you can do. There are no signs, just words hurtful of others who have finally stolen our Drayke from us," he notes in his Instagram post.

Drayke was just 12 years old, so this mom wonders "how a 12-year-old who was loved by everyone thinks life is so hard he needs to get out of it."

In his post, he recalls that his son was "the world" for his entire family and that everyone who knew Drayke loved him because "he had a light that illuminated", "a witty personality and those baby blue eyes that conquered the world".

He also remembers his

passion for basketball and jazz

and that the little boy dreamed of being the "shortest" player in the NBA.

"Now you will forever be the protector of your older sisters. I'm not sure how to navigate this life without you. I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you, and instead it is you who has spent the rest of hers with me", states this mother who accompanies the publication with several photographs of how she, Drayke's father and her sisters say goodbye to the little one.

In addition, in this publication through which he wants to make bullying visible, Samie assures that he will spend "every minute" of his life

carrying kindness as a flag

, as his son did.

"His purpose for him was to teach kindness, to show love, he was a friend to everyone. Once you entered the tribe of Drayke, you would always be there," she concludes.
