At around 10:10 am today, the fire department was called to the scene after receiving a report that "water bursts on the road and water enters the business area."
The accident occurred at the construction site of the Dongbu Line urban railroad, and the water pipe in the basement ruptured and water gushed out, flooding nearby restaurants, etc., and citizens were evacuated.
The area around Doseon Intersection in Haengdang-dong is under traffic control to deal with the accident, and congestion is forming.
The Fire Department and Dongbu Waterworks Office are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
