A report came out that slugs were found in the hamburgers of a famous hamburger chain.

A pregnant woman in her 30s living in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do found a black object attached to lettuce in a hamburger she bought at a nearby hamburger shop on the 6th.

Upon closer inspection, it was said that a 4cm-long slug was dead and half way above the lettuce. Mr. A immediately contacted the store to protest and request a refund.

It is said that a store official visited Mr. A's house and retrieved the hamburger in question, saying, 'We are using lettuce delivered and we will take measures to prevent this from happening in the future.'

Mr. A was taken aback, saying, 'The snails are large, so they stand out well, but it is difficult to understand the act of selling them to customers without checking them properly.

The Korean branch of the hamburger chain took the position that the compensation was amicably finished with the consumer, and that whether or not slugs came from the product can only be known through inspection according to the procedure.
