A man in his 60s was found dead in the rooftop room of a house in Seokgwan-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul around 12:10 pm on the 6th.
When Mr. A, a 63-year-old man living alone, had not been seen for several weeks, the police arrived after receiving a report from the owner who was suspicious and found Mr. A dead.
The body of Mr. A is known to be in a highly decomposed state.
The police conducted a simple test for COVID-19 on Mr. A, and it came out positive.
The police have requested the PCR test to the public health center and are waiting for the results.
The police plan to investigate the exact cause of death through an autopsy at the National Forensic Service.
