Smart WhatsApp tricks that many people don't know about

If you are a regular user of WhatsApp, it is useful to know some clever tricks, which you may not have known existed in the application.

The British newspaper, The Sun, shared a video clip with the name @tricksin1 on TikTok, which garnered more than 7,000 likes, showing the best WhatsApp tricks to ensure an enjoyable experience when using the application.

The first trick is to save messages in the "Favorites" category.

All you have to do is open WhatsApp and go to the chat.

And if you tap your finger on a specific message, you'll have the option to star it.

Then go to Settings and look for Starred Messages.

And this is where all your favorite messages will be stored.

This is an easy way to keep track of important messages, which may include important addresses, travel directions, and other messages that interest you.

The video also offers another tip which is to pin chats to the top of the chats list.

This is an easy way to prioritize your favorite people in the app.

Pinning conversations allows important conversations to be at the top of the list in order to save you the trouble of searching for them every time.

In order to pin a conversation to the top of your chat list, you have to tap and hold on the conversation until the "Pin" icon appears next to the delete and archive options.

The selected chat will then be pinned to the top of the list.

If you change your mind later, you can cancel the installation at any time.

Other tricks on WhatsApp

Bold text is a great way to emphasize a word or phrase: bold.

It can also highlight the message, which can be useful in group chats.

All you have to do is put an asterisk on either side of the word or phrase you are trying to highlight, such as: *Put text here*.

Similarly, it is also possible to make WhatsApp messages italic, a feature that works in the same way as the previous trick, but using different icons.

And you need to put an underscore on either side of the word or phrase you're trying to modify, like this: _text_.
