This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health.

"The parties discussed joint steps to accredit and include Russian regulatory authorities - the Russian Ministry of Health, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Roszdravnadzor - in the WHO Listed Authorities List," the Ministry of Health said.

They also discussed steps towards establishing a WHO training center for regulatory practices in Russia.

At the same time, the WHO representative noted that Russia entered the accreditation process for inclusion in the WLA list among the first, because its regulatory system is sufficiently developed.

Gaspar also noted in general "high satisfaction with the interaction with the Russian side as part of the prequalification procedure for the Sputnik V vaccine."

It is noted that the next visit of WHO experts is scheduled for February.
